- Sleek half ht cabinet in front of bed for additional storage & provides for a table top TV to be installed in future. Suspended Flip- up dresser to act as a light work top without affecting the storage at existing sliding wardrobe.
- Conventional floor tiles was hacked and replaced with timbre looking floor tiles for easier maintenance (darker colour tone), more slip resistance due to the texture & having an effortless look that brings more depth to the kitchen.
- Kitchen top was selected in an Ash grey tone quartz to be heavy duty and ease of maintenance as homeowner cooks quite often.
- Kitchen cabinet, mosaic backing & glass backing are in tones of white and cream to achieve a clean and airy look at the same time having different materials to bring in details for the wall finishing.
- TV feature wall is in a white marble looking laminate with clean lines to conceal the cabinet doors which are shallow storage for daily miscellaneous items (tissue boxes, battery, vase, books), and to house the cables for TV & electronics appliances.
- Suspended cabinet & a low ledge brought practicality to the wall along the dining walkway. The chamfered side gave the cabinet a wider look without looking like a box or exposing its cabinet depth (the slant at the side make the cabinet looks sleeker and has a nicer flow and transition). The suspended ledge acts as a side table beside sofa and allows homeowner to have the flexibility to change the vase and display items according to “season” (Christmas, lunar new year, change the flowers). Also, this is the view of what they will see when the walk out of bedrooms to living area.
- Timbre beam across the sofa wall serves as a continuity from the suspended cabinet & to function as a light box for art pieces as well as adding more depth to the flat wall which is covered in wallpaper.
- Existing fixed glass between dining and kitchen was replaced with a sliding glass panel to enhance interaction & a breakfast counter was added to block the visual clutter at kitchen top.
- The storage space at dining area acts as a dry pantry where it house the coffee machine and dry stores, and shallower part of the storage aligned with the dining table are for wine bottles and glasses.
- Continual bedframe, headboard & timbre ceiling with covelights. Hidden storage below bed. & additional full height storage cabinet/ bookshelves.
- Vanity mirror with storage & open shelves & cove lighting below. Overlay feature wall at shower using big size marble looking tiles for a maintenance free wall finishing & grand & timeless look.
- A continual laminate headboard & side board across the bed and study table to give the bedroom a more complete look with covelighting & wallpaper. Hidden storage below bed
