Frequently asked questions
What does M Atelier do?
M Atelier is a boutique interior design studio based in Singapore, specialising in residential spaces that prioritise clarity, comfort, and intentional design. Every project begins with understanding how you live — and evolves into a space that feels effortless, refined, and distinctly yours.
What interior design services does M Atelier offer?
M Atelier offers four services: Space Planning, Concept & Style Development, Project Management, and Interior Styling.
Space Planning designs layouts that maximise form, function, and spatial clarity. Concept & Style Development crafts a cohesive visual direction through materials, textures, and tones that reflect your lifestyle. Project Management is seamless execution from concept to completion, with trusted contractors and close on-site management. Interior Styling is the final layer of refinement — curating furniture, art, and accessories that complete a living environment.
How does the M Atelier design process work?
The process has four stages: Discover, Concept & Budget Planning, Design & Build, and Finishing.
Discover: we begin by understanding your lifestyle, aspirations, and how you truly inhabit a space — before a single line is drawn. Concept & Budget Planning: a refined design direction is developed — spatial planning, material selections, and a visual identity unique to you. Design & Build: we manage every detail of the build with precision, coordinating trusted contractors and ensuring exacting quality control. Finishing: furniture, art, and accessories are curated and placed, giving your space its final, distinctly personal character.
What types of projects does M Atelier take on?
M Atelier designs residential interiors — apartments, condominiums and landed homes — as well as commercial spaces such as offices. You can see examples of each in the Portfolio.
Has M Atelier won any awards?
Yes. M Atelier’s Showroom, by M Atelier Private Limited, won Best Office Interior Singapore at the Asia Pacific Property Awards (Interior Design) 2021–2022, in association with Grohe.
