• The requested for a spacious looking Scandinavian theme home and a kids’ friendly environment for their young kids.

What’s the most interesting design feature in this home?
• Timbre ceiling design. Because of the high ceiling, the timbre strips brought more depth to the ceiling and demarcates the dining area but still maintaining the spacious and airy look.

What were some of the challenges when designing this house?
• There was limited width for the dining area. So the use of dining bench will help to widen the walkway beside the dining table slightly.

Living room:

Special furniture/material:

• We hacked down the wall between the living hall & stairs, to make the living hall appear more spacious and bring in natural light and ventilation to the staircase.

• Horizontal full length TV feature wall make the living area appear wider and low console. And we designed a full height timbre strips divider to have a little privacy for people walking up & down the stairs.

Dining room:

Special furniture/material:

• A Side board that continues to become a dining bench with storage, stretches along with the blue wall across the dining hall.

Dry Kitchen:

Special furniture/material:

• In addition to the wet kitchen provided by developer. We designed a dry kitchen, to house the wine chiller, coffee machine & dry stores.

Family area:

Special furniture/material:

• Homeowners have their existing world map that they wish to bring it to their new home and it fit perfectly at the family area wall. We chose a dark colour to bring out the contrast and have spotlights above it to enhance it further. The the Electrical box was hidden in a timbre strips looking cabinet with display niche.

Bedroom/s:
